Community Food Cupboard

Community food cupboard is a groundbreaking initiative that helps people in the community to save money on their food bills. Humanify community food cupboard go beyond the food bank model, creating a sustainable and long-term solution to food poverty keeping the dignity of the beneficiaries in mind. Members pay a £5 fee each time they shop in return for £15-20 worth of groceries. Regular shoppers tell us they can make savings of up to £80 per month,  improved health and wellbeing and reduced isolation.

The food cupboard runs in a way that beneficiaries do not have to queue up to access the food cupboard. The food provided are of high quality and helps feed families in a dignified manner.
